Aga Khan Foundation Scholarship 2021
The Aga Khan Foundation has launched this scholarship scheme for universities in the US, Canada, UK, France and Portugal. The scholarship is awarded on 50% grant and 50% loan basis. Candidates who are currently pursuing postgraduate level programs in eligible countries will be given preference in this scholarship scheme. To be eligible for the scholarship scheme candidates have to submit their application form before 31st March.

Aga Khan Foundation Scholarship – Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the scholarship, the applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria:-
- The applicant should belong to the following places-
- India, Pakistan, Kenya, Syria, Afghanistan, Egypt, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Mozambique, Uganda and Madagascar.
- Applicant’s age should be less than 30 years
- Students who originally come from one of the previously mentioned developing countries and are involved in development-related studies and have no other means of education can apply for scholarships to study in the UK, France, Portugal, USA and Canada can send application for this .
- Candidates applying for short term courses are not eligible.
- Candidates should have working experience in their respective fields.
Note-: Applicants studying at universities in the UK, Germany, Sweden, Austria, Denmark, the Netherlands, Italy, Norway and Ireland are not eligible to apply.
Aga Khan Foundation Scholarship 2021-22 Rewards
The Aga Khan Scholarship covers the following:
- 50% scholarship grant and 50% loan form.
- Tuition fees are also covered under this scholarship.
- The cost of living is also covered under this scholarship, excluding travel expenses of the institution and back home / vice versa.
Loan Condition in Aga Khan Scholarship 2021-22
- Under this scheme, loan is given for half the scholarship.
- Candidates have to pay 5% as annual fee.
- The guarantor (whoever is within the family) has to sign the loan agreement form.
- Students have to repay their loan within 5 years of commencement of studies and within 6 months of completion of studies.
