Swami Vivekananda Scholarship – The West Bengal Higher Education Department offers the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship to meritorious students who secured at least 60% marks in the previous board examination. This scholarship is known as Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means (SVMCM) Scholarship and formally known as Bikas Bhavan Scholarship.
The application process for SVMCM Scholarship is online. Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2021 will be awarded to those students who have currently passed Secondary, Higher Secondary Examination or have taken admission in courses like B.Tech, MBBS, Diploma, Nursing, M.Phil, Ph.D etc.

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2021

Eligibility for Higher Secondary Students {HS Students}
- Students who have passed Secondary Examination 2021 with at least 60% marks and have taken admission in Higher Secondary (10+2) course in Arts/ Science/ Commerce streams are eligible for SVMCM Scholarship 2021.
Eligibility for Undergraduate Students
- Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks (best five) in aggregate. Students enrolled in the first year of undergraduate course in Engineering / Medical / General Education / GNM Nursing / Para Medical Diploma Course after passing the HS exam (with minimum 60% in aggregate) in 2021 are eligible to apply for Bikash Bhawan Scholarship .
- Students enrolled in the second year of Bachelor’s course in Engineering on lateral admission basis after passing Diploma course (with minimum 75%) in the relevant disciplines from Government of West Bengal Polytechnic Colleges in 2021 will also be eligible for Apply .
Eligibility for Diploma Student
- Students who are enrolled for the first year Diploma (Polytechnic) courses after passing the Secondary examination 2021 or after qualifying the VOCLET examination, and have taken admission in the second year Diploma (Polytechnic) courses on lateral admission basis, They will be eligible. Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination to apply for the scholarship.
