Hindi Scholarship Scheme- Department of Higher Education, Science & Technology and Biotechnology, Government of West Bengal invites students to apply for Hindi Scholarship Scheme 2021-22. The aim of the scholarship is to promote Hindi education in a non-Hindi speaking state such as West Bengal. The scholarship scheme is for the students who are studying in Higher Secondary, Undergraduate, Post Graduate and Research (M.Phil, Ph.D or M. Lit. etc.) in any institute of West Bengal.

The Hindi Scholarship will be provided to students of these levels UG/M.Phil, Ph.D. OR M. Lit./B.Ed/B. T. Government of West Bengal provides Hindi Scholarship Scheme to the students who have passed their 10th class and this scholarship is available from 10th to Master’s degree to Ph.D. The only purpose of scholarship is non-state who are deprived of Hindi so that they can be made aware about Hindi because Hindi is national language for us. Hindi Scholarship Scheme Details in English

• Hindi Scholarship Scheme West Bengal is awarded to 239 every year for their further Hindi studies.
• The students who study higher secondary scholarship per month get Rs 300 and quota is 143.
• Students studying undergraduate level scholarship per month is Rs 500 and quota is 72.
• For Postgraduate (PG) as well as Research stage: The amount of scholarship per month is Rs 1000 and the quota is 24

Hindi Scholarship Scheme Reward { Scholarship Amount }

The government provides this scholarship to a total of 239 students. Here we provide scholarship amount according to your education level.

• For Higher Secondary Level – INR 300 per Month to 143 Students
• For Graduation {UG} Level – INR 500 per Month to 72 Students
• For Post-Graduation {PG} Level – INR 1000 per Month to 24 Students

Eligibility Criteria for Hindi Scholarship West Bengal

If you are want to apply in this scheme then check your eligibility first by below points -:

• Applicant must belong to non-Hindi speaking state.
• And also the permanent residence of West Bengal.
• Students must have passed Secondary, Higher Secondary, Graduation, Post Graduation or any other equivalent degree in the same year of application.
• Candidate should have taken admission in any recognized full time course with Hindi as sole subject or as one of the combination subjects.
• Students who have secured at least 60% marks in the previous examination.
• Candidate must have passed the previous exam in the first attempt.
• Students having Hindi as a subject in the respective course are eligible.
• Candidates studying in B.Ed or BT course having both method and content of teaching Hindi are eligible.
• Students who have done MPhil or Ph.D. OR M Litt in Hindi Language and Literature are also eligible.

Who are not eligible for WB Hindi Scholarship ?

• Students belonging to West Bengal but residing in any Hindi speaking state are not eligible.
• Applicants preparing for any private examination or willing to study through correspondence are not eligible.
• Students preparing for two courses simultaneously will be eligible only if Hindi is one of the subjects in both the courses.

How to Apply in Hindi Scholarship Scheme West Bengal

Students have to apply for this scholarship through offline mode. The process given below-:

• Firstly , students have to submit the scholarship application form office or post.
• If you want to receive the application form from the office, then visit the below mentioned address.
