Rupashree Prakalpa Helpline Number- the Hon’ble Finance Minister, Government of West Bengal announced a one-time financial grant of Rs. 25,000 for the financially stressed families at the time of marriage of their adult daughters.
The grant, known as “Rupashree Prakalpa“, aims to ease the difficulties faced by poor families in meeting the wedding expenses of their daughters, for which they often have to borrow money at very high interest rates.
Rupashree Prakalpa will be effective from 1st April, 2018 and will be applicable for all marriages with effect from 01st April, 2018.
This scheme will be implemented in all the districts of West Bengal.
